August 2015 Mooresville Real Estate Market Update

Mooresville Homes
In August 2015 154 homes sold in the Mooresville real estate market, an 9.4% decrease from the 170 Mooresville homes sold in July. August 2015 sales figures increased 21.2% from August 2014 when 127 homes sold in the Mooresville area.

The average sales price decreased 12.9% from $375,343 in July to $326,878 in August. The August 2015 average sales price decreased 7.9% from the August 2014 average sales price which was $354,954.

Average days on the market increased 1.4% from 69 days in July to 70 days on the market in August. August 2014 average days on the market were 82, a 14.6% decrease in market time.

Currently there are 836 homes for sale in Mooresville, down 6.1% from August. The average list price is $537,477 up .2% from the August average list price of $536,636. 250 Mooresville homes are currently under contract, down 7.7% from August.

In August 2015 15 condos/townhomes sold in the Mooresville real estate market, a 6.3% decrease from the 16 Mooresville condos or townhomes sold in July. August 2015 sales figures increased 15.4% from August 2014 when 13 Mooresville condos sold.

The average sales price decreased 5.9% from $174,341 in July to $164,074 in August. The August 2015 average sales price increased 13.5% from the August 2014 average sales price which was $144,515.

Average days on the market decreased 26.9% from 78 days in July to 57 in August. August 2014 average days on the market were 90, a 36.7% decrease in market time.
