March 2016 Mooresville Real Estate Market Update

In March 2016 114 homes sold in the Mooresville real estate market, a 16% increase from the 98 Mooresville homes sold in February. March 2016 sales figures decreased 2.6% from March 2015 when 117 homes sold in the Mooresville area.

The average sales price decreased 17% from $366,374 in February to $303,935 in March. The March 2016 average sales price decreased 9.6% from the March 2015 average sales price which was $336,193.

Average days on the market decreased 13.5% from 96 days in February to 83 days on the market in March. The March 2015 average days on the market were 104, a 20.2% decrease in market time.

Currently there are 852 homes for sale in Mooresville, up 16% from March. The average list price is $591,541 up .9% from the March average list price of $586,497. 292 Mooresville homes are currently under contract, up 33% from March!
