Mooresville Homes

In March 2019 156 homes sold in the Mooresville real estate market, a 31% increase from the 119 Mooresville homes sold in February 2019. March 2019 sales figures increased 26.8% from March 2018 when 123 homes sold in the Mooresville real estate market.

The average sales price decreased by 7.3% from $379,625 in February to $351,913 in March 2019. The March 2019 average sales price decreased 4.8% from the March 2018 average sales price which was $369,762.

Average days on the market decreased by 20% from 80 days in February to 64 days on the market in March 2019. The March 2018 average days on the market were 78, an 18% decrease in market time from the same period last year.

Currently, there are 550 active homes for sale in Mooresville, up 1.3% from March. The average list price of active homes is $621,267 up 3.7% from the March average list price of $598,972. There are 351 Mooresville homes currently under contract, up 2.6% from March. Based on these numbers, just over 1.1 months of inventory, we are currently in a seller’s market in the Mooresville real estate market.

In March 2019 12 condos/townhomes sold in the Mooresville real estate market, a 25% decrease from the 16 Mooresville condos and townhomes sold in February 2019. March 2019 sales figures decreased 20% from March 2018 when 15 Mooresville condos sold.

The average sales price increased by 16.5% from $177,738 in February to $207,033 in March 2019. The March 2019 average sales price decreased 6.6% from the March 2018 average sales price which was $221,752.

Average days on the market increased 68% from 25 days in February to 42 days on the market in March 2019. The March 2018 average days on the market were 48, a 12.5% decrease in market time from one year ago.

Currently, there are 23 active condos for sale in Mooresville, a 17.9% decrease from the 28 active Mooresville condos for sale in March. The average list price of active listings is $277,842, down .3% from March’s average list price of $278,601. There are 32 Mooresville condos/townhomes currently under contract, a 20% decrease from March. The average sales price decreased by 76.2% from $185,612 in February 2018 to $44,167 in March 2019. The March 2019 average sales price decreased 71% from the March 2018 average sales price which was $151,900.

Average days on the market increased by 17% from 172 in February 2019 to 201 days on the market in March 2019. The March 2018 average days on the market were 244, a 17.6% decrease in market time versus the same time period last year.

Currently, there are 258 active Mooresville lots for sale in the MLS, a 0% increase in inventory from March. The average list price of active listings is $469,482, up 4.3% from March’s average list price of $450,288. 42 Mooresville lots are currently under contract, a 10.5% increase from March.
